Anna May Harrell, 93, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at her home.
She was born on March 19, 1918 to Horace W. and Katie R. Guthrie Melone in Anchorage, KY. She was homemaker, tour guide for the Howard Steamboat Museum for several years, formerly active in 4-H, enjoyed quilting and crafts, and was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Glen P. Harrell who passed away on September 20, 2001.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan A. Harrell of Jeffersonville, IN; son, Perry Harrell of Jeffersonville, IN; sister, Ruth Klingenfus of La Grange, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial at the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday after 10am.
