Mrs. Goins was born on January 2, 1922 in Kentucky to Obie and Maude Frazier Stevens and died on Thursday August 28, 2008 at Sellersburg Health and Rehab Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Herb and Earl Stevens and a granddaughter Margaret Ferguson. She is survivied by her husband James Goins, son; Jim Goins of Lavergne, TN, daughters; Beverly (Don) Zollman of Charlestown, Pat (Walt) Larkins of Rapid City, SD and Phylis Ferguson of Daytona Beach, FL, sisters; Pauline Zimmerman of Charlestown and Virginia Couch of Glendale, KY and 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
