Anita Belle Reed, 73 of New Washington, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison,IN.
Miss Reed was born February 19, 1941 in Clark County, IN the daughter of Kenneth L. and Mary M. Haycox Reed. She was a retired Teletype Operator for Braniff International in Dallas, TX and a member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in New Washington.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Debra Hatton of Madison, IN, John Gregory of Dallas, TX, Marcella McMillan of Sacramento, CA, Jacqueline Cooper of Alabaster, AL, Kandy Saparito and Kenneth Reed of Louisville, KY; sister, Mary Yunker of Radcliff, KY; brother, John Reed of Madison, IN.
Funeral services were held on June 2, 2014 at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Miss Reed may take the form of donations to an animal shelter of choice or King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
