Mrs. King passed away Thursday Oct. 15, 2009 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1949 in Clark County, IN the daughter of William Henry and Viola Bell Lewis Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a member of the God Church His Word Ministry in Charlestown, IN.
She is survived by her husband William R. King Sr. of Charlestown, IN; sons William King Jr. of Charlestown, IN and Cordell King of Des Moines. IA; daughters Viola King of Scottsburg, IN and Karen Pierson of Elizabeth, IN; brothers Jerry Montgomery and Raymond Montgomery both of Charlestown, IN and Lynard Montgomery of Louisville, KY; sisters Janie Rosengarden, Loretta Barnhart, and Vivian Castanetta, all of Charlestown, IN and Phyllis Vest of New Albany, IN; four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
