Amelia Jane Roberts, 83 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday Jan. 3, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.
She was born on July 27, 1933 in Livingston, KY to Henry R. and Janie Baker Mason. She was a retired Clerk at the US Census Bureau and attended Louisville Beauty College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Deb Roberts, sisters; Evelyn, Virginia, Daisy and Lucille; brothers, Grady and Luther.
She is survived by her daughters; Debbie Tomes of Shepherdsville, KY and Mindy Hopwood (Kevin) of Memphis; son, David Roberts (Tracy) of Memphis; grandchildren, Anthony, Michael, Scott, Kristopher, Mackenzie and Ethan; great grandchildren, Braylee, Braxton, Micah, Brenton, Cole and a great granddaughter on the way.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday January 7, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 8 pm on Friday and after 9 am on Saturday.
