Alyssa Kay Pettry, 26 of Charlestown died Friday evening February 24, 2012 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on July 24, 1985 in Logan, West Virginia to Timothy and Linda Gulliford Pettry. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include her parents Timothy and Linda Pettry of Charlestown, sisters; Shauna Grace (Cory) of Oak Harbor, WA, Amanda Gordon (Jeff) of Louisville, KY, Kayla Pettry of Charlestown and Kirstin Catlett (Barry) of Salem, IN, grandparents; Marilyn and Joseph Pettry of Charlestown and Sylvia Gulliford of Florida, aunt’s and uncle’s; Barbara & Johnie Odle, Patricia Pettry, Sandra Taulbee, Russell Gulliford, Robert Gulliford, Allen Gulliford, Patty and Charley McKnight, and Debbie Bentley, nieces and nephews; Darrian, Hayden, Jeffrey, Austin, Sophia, DeWayne, Kylee and 25 cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
