Alma S. Owens

Alma S. Owens 99, of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday December 23, 2019 at Landmark of Louisville.

Mrs. Owens was born on June 7, 1920 in Hubble, Kentucky to Silas and Florence Young Smith.  She was a former employee of I.C.I. of Americas in Charlestown and retired from Enro as a seamstress.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Owens; brothers, Howard and Silas Smith; sister, Mildred Avera.

Survivors include her sister, Edna Miles of Sellersburg, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. of Friday December 27, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
