Ms. Newby a native of Auburn, Ky and member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church died Friday June 16, 2006 at Sellersburg Health and Rehab. She is survived by her children Russell (Linda) Newby and Ruth (Carlos) Friend; sisters Vayola Clapp, Rebecca Martin and Kathleen Rogers; grandsons Mark (Leslie) Newby and Timothy (Shana) Friend and great granddaughter Megan Friend
