Alexis Marie Parker Horton, 16, of Lexington, IN passed away on Friday April 29, 2016 at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Alexis was born on February 1, 2000 in Madison, IN and enjoyed many activities with the Revive Youth Ministry of River Valley Community Church in Madison. She also loved music, shopping with family, taking vacations at the beach and ramping the waves, boating, cuddling and spending time with friends.
Alexis was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Horton; great grandfather, George Horton.
She is survived by her parents, Amy and Dustin Brinson of Lexington; and was awaiting the birth of her brother Noah Lee Brinson. Also surviving are grandparents, Larry & Sabrina Horton Sr., of Nabb, IN, Randall Brinson and Sandra Bushong both of Madison; great grandmother, Carol Robinson of Madison; aunt, Christian Kirk; uncles, Larry Horton, Jr., Derrick Brinson and Luke Kirk; cousins, Shellbie Johnson and Brandon Horton and she was loved by many great aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Tuesday May 3, 2016 at River Valley Community Church in Madison, IN. Visitation will be at the church from 2 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 10 am Tuesday. Burial will be in Benham Cemetery. Arrangement s are with Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN.
