Albert Dudley Armstrong

Albert Armstrong, 82 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Rolling Hills Nursing Center in New Albany, IN.

Albert was born on April 8, 1938 in Mt. Eden, Kentucky the son of Joe Phillip and Eva Bell Franklin Armstrong. He was a retired Construction worker spending most of his career laying water and electrical lines.

Albert is survived by his wife Marilyn Wagner Armstrong; daughter, Carol Goode and her husband Keith of Clarksville, IN; son, Fred Armstrong and his wife Donna of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren, Roy Glenn Cornett and his wife Mackenzie, Tabitha Dugdale and her husband Shawn, Bob Morris, Allison Morris, Tiffany Barttley and Travis Barttley; great-grandchildren, Lyra Dugdale, Lennon Cornett, Liam Cornett, Matthew Morris, Maddie Morris, Austin Jackson, and Brandy Jackson. Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Truman J. Armstrong,  sister, Margaret Bratcher.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Emmanuel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday until the time of services.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Albert may take the form of donations to the Clark County Humane Society or Shriners.
