Alaunte D. Keaire Weathers

Alaunte Daemondre’ KeAire Weathers 30, of Elizabethtown, KY, and formerly of Charlestown, IN. passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at UofL Hospital in Louisville, KY.  due to injuries received in an automobile accident.

Alaunte was born on June 9, 1993, in Florence, KY. to Dante and Sakia Weathers Speed.  He worked for Clark Material Handling as a fork truck driver, during tax season he worked also as a tax preparer, but his passion was in music production and composing.

Alaunte was a Charlestown High School Pirate Alumni, where he played football and composed the Pirate Anthem.

He is survived by his parents; sons, KyAire and Kylo Weathers; siblings, Dante Speed Jr (Tia), Diamond Speed, NaShyla Thomas (Jonathan), Diamante Speed (Ariana), Zymere Speed, AiKas Speed, and TaNiya Speed; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews to cherish his memory.

Life Celebration Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Lamb of God Healing Center (8206 Old Hwy 60, Sellersburg, IN 47172). Viewing will start at 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 12:00 p.m. also at the church.

Burial will follow at Charlestown Cemetery.
