Mr. Murphy died on Wednesday at his residence. He was born September 17, 1922 in Taylorsville, KY to Al and Lola Wayne Murphy.
He is survived by his wife Edna Beasley Murphy, 2 sons: Sam Murphy of Elizabethtown, KY and Tim Murphy of LaSalle, MI, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
