Agnes Jean Fischer

Mrs. Fischer passed away on Wednesday Dec. 16, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on February 10, 1936 in Owensboro, KY to Romuald and Marie Hamilton Johnson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by a son Robert Kevin Fischer and sister Maxine Johnson. She was a retired switch board operator with ICI Americas and owned Star-Word Processing business in Richmond, VA. Mrs. Fischer was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Red Hat Society, St. Michael's choir, Charlestown Seniors and a national broadcaster to the blind for Virginia Voice in Richmond, VA.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Mark Fischer; daughter Cara Whalen (Dave) of Charlestown, IN; son Brian Keith Fischer (Benita) of Charlestown, IN and Stephen Eric Fischer of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Stefan Brafford, Kyrie Brafford, Jennifer Knight (Jonathan), Stephanie Fischer, Kelsey Whalen; brothers John Johnson and Leo Johnson
both of Owensboro, KY; sister Margaret Hayden of Owensboro, KY; several nieces and nephews.
