Adam is survived his parents; wife, Regena (Rodgers) Carlton of Salem; daughter, Sheena Carlton of Alaska; brother, Ronald Carlton of Salem, and Mary Beth Gibson-Jackson of International Falls, MN.

The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
