Aaron Scott (Scoob) Reed

Aaron Scott “Scoob” Reed 53 of North Vernon, IN passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on September 20, 1970, in Jeffersonville, IN to Ralph and Rachel Lovins Reed. Aaron was a former employee of the Kova Fertilizer Company in Cortland, IN, and attended Mt. Moriah Church in Henryville, IN.

“Scoob” enjoyed riding his custom Harley Davidson Motorcycle, working jigsaw puzzles, watching Hot Rod TV shows, eating at Texas Roadhouse, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Kelsey Reed, daughter Samantha Reed of New Albany, IN; parents, Ralph and Rachel Reed of Henryville; brother, Michael W. Reed (Vicki) of Henryville; stepdaughter, Nichole Loyd (Russell) of Seymour, IN; niece, Rebecca Shae Reed of Henryville; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday and a procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
