Willie Delmor Wray, 80, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday June 29, 2017 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare in New Albany, IN.
He was born on August 29, 1936 in Cumberland County, KY to Virgil and Ada Whitehead Wray. Mr. Wray was a former construction worker and farmer and was a member of the Faith World Church in Charlestown.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Cissell Wray; second wife, Ethel Aldridge Wray; sons, Rick and Tim Holcomb; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Andy, Johnny, Buford and Bunt Wray; sisters Pauline and Lelea Blakley, Olean Ooten, Christine Lanham and Fannie Spears.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Hattabaugh Wray; sons, Karl Wray (Lori) of Charlestown and Russell Wray (Betty) of Marysville, IN; daughters, Jamie Stewart (Joe) of Marysville, IN, Teresa Roberts (Alan) of Clarksville, IN, Vickie Sammons (Dan) of New Albany, IN and Donna Wray of Scottsburg, IN; step-son Nick Holcomb of Charlestown; 35 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm on Sunday July 2, 2017 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 4:30 on Sunday.
