Steve Frazier, 89, of Charlestown, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Rolling Hills Healthcare in New Albany, IN.
He was born on May 2, 1924 to Zack and Effie (Fields) Frazier in Oscaloosa, Ky. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a retired assembly worker for General Electric, member of the Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #226, Blazing Bright OES #597, and a member of the Charlestown Regular Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Hazel, and daughter, Vanessa Hinton.
Survivors include his daughter, Veronica Russell of AZ; niece & nephew whom he raised, Kathy Dunn of Charlestown, and James Siphers of Jeffersonville, IN, 5 grandchildren and a host of other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Friday.
Masonic services will be held at 7 pm on Thursday November 21, 2013 at the funeral home.
