Richard Charles Childress

Richard Charles Childress, 63, of Louisville, KY passed away on Feb 22, 2014 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.
He was born on March 24, 1950 in Louisville, KY to Robert Charles and Edith (Dickey) Childress.  He was an Army Veteran and a retired letter carrier with the US Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife, Angala (Shepherd), Step-son Scott Fulkerson (Julia) of Charlestown, IN; step-daughters Candice Haynes (David) and Michelle Hall (Brock) both of Charlestown, IN; sister  Cathy Duncan (Brian) of Louisville, KY; grandchildren:  Amanda Bethards, Misha Frazier, Miranda Zinninger, Justin Pedigo, Adam Shepherd. Great grandchildren: Taylor Bethards, William Bethards, and  Trey’Von  Linton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Crace Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 pm and on Wednesday beginning at 9 am.
