Mary Ann Townsend, 87, passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 13, 1926 to Henry and Minnie Connerley West in Petersburg, IN and was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and D.A.R. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband H. Donald Townsend.
She is survived by her son; D. Douglas Townsend of Shady Spring, WV and daughter; Flo A. Whitaker of Jeffersonville, IN and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday February 8, 2013 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 pm on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home and after 10 am Saturday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to her church.
