Joan DeHart , 77 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Monday November 21, 2016 at Kindred Healthcare in Sellersburg.
She was born on July 6, 1939 in Hardburly, KY to William and Cynthia Combs Couch. She was a former owner in the lumber business. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Couch and sisters, Dena Cole and Brenda Chavez.
Survivors include her companion, Claude Sam Harper of Sellersburg; daughters, Elaina Freeman of Madison, IN, Sharon Spellman (Ray) of Deputy, IN, Lana McCutcheon of Sellersburg, Dana Cherry (Mike) of Madison; sisters, Betty Matthews of Sellersburg, Carole Scifres of Bloomington, IN, Vivian Baker of Scottsburg, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Bradley, Derek, Johathan, Olivia and Lucas; great grandchildren, Noah and Kyle.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 pm on Monday November 28, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN. Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm on Monday.
