Hugh Boyd Henry Jr.

Hugh Boyd Henry, Jr., 82, of Charlestown, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Born on July 22, 1942, in Louisville, KY, Boyd was the cherished son of Hugh and Helena R. Hellman Henry. He was a devoted family man, a retired Photo Engraver for the Courier-Journal in Louisville, and a proud member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club. Known for his love of golf and his faith, Boyd was a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.

Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, his sons Tim Henry and Greg Henry, and his grandson Derek Henry.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Stella Houchens Henry; his daughter, Pam Owen, and her husband David of Sellersburg; his daughter-in-law, Michelle Henry of Charlestown; his grandchildren, Samantha, Shane, and Kayla; his great-grandchildren, Lilyauna and G.W.; his sister, Laura Dowell of Irvington, KY; and his nephew, Roger Dowell of Irvington.

Family and friends are invited to a Life Celebration Memorial Service on Monday, December 9, 2024, at noon at the North Charlestown Church of God. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church.
