Carlene M. Coomer

She was the former Carlene Rone born December 31, 1924 to Corby and Mabel (Miller) Rone in Mitchell, IN. She was a Christian and lived her life in Christian Testimony. She was a faithful member of the Charlestown Independent Church. She loved her church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. We her children want to thank her for always being a steady guide and inspiration thoughout our lives. We are so proud she was our mother. She retired from North Clark Hospital after 10 years of service, and the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant after years of service. She loved gardening, cooking, and quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband William Nelson Coomer, beloved son Larry Nelson Coomer, and sister Ethelene Bellen. Survivors include two sons, Terry Coomer (Carol), Kenny Coomer (Connie); four daughters, Sharon Kearns (Herb), Phyllis Mick (Alan), Beatrice Caudill (Bob), Donna Coomer (Dan); four brothers, Kelly, Glenn, Thurman and Ernest Rone; two sisters, Lola Foley, and Pauline Blanton; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
