Bob Campbell

Coach Bob Campbell, age 71 of Chatsworth, GA and formerly of the Charlestown area passed away Friday, May 24th 2019 at Quinton Memorial in Dalton, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mallie Campbell; brothers, Charles, Denny and Leon Campbell; and sisters, Helen Campbell and Juanita Cundiff. Bobby was a teacher for the Murray County School System for over 32 years and finished his career as coach and teacher for Bagley Middle School.

He is survived by his brother, Tom Campbell of Memphis, TN; sisters, Frieda Shaw of Charlestown, IN and Linda Wilson of Otisco, IN.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Coach Bob Campbell will be 6:00 pm Thursday, May 30th 2019 from the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Chatsworth, GA with Rev. Micah Johnson and Dr. Danny Harkleroad officiating. Burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, Indiana.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday, May 30th 2019 at Jones Funeral Home in Chatsworth, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Coach Campbell be made to The Chatsworth Boys and Girls Club 1000 Green Road Chatsworth, Georgia 30705.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Charlestown Cemetery. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of local arrangements.
