Wilbert Hall 97, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Campbell’s Mini Home in New Washington, IN.
He was born on May 31, 1921 in Liberty, KY to John and Claudia Clarkston Hall. He was an army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post 335 and a retired truck driver for New Albany Ready Mix.
Wilbert was preceded in death by his sons, Ralph Douglas Hall and Donald Ray Musgrave, step-son, Bobby Warren, first wife, Irene Brading Hall; 2nd wife, Gustiva Williams Hall; sisters, Marilyn Caldwell and Linda Hall; brothers, Freddy, Clyde, Arvie, John Lee, Edmund, and Kenny Hall.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Marsha Hall of Charlestown; step-daughter, Clara James of Charlestown; step-sons, David Warren (Ronnie) of Florida, James Warren (Mary) of Colorado, Charles Warren of Memphis, IN; brother, Mike Hall (Loretta) of Otisco, IN and Robert Hall (Janet) of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Christine (Tiny) Slaughter of Charlestown and Odelia (Dill) Jones of Russell Springs, KY and several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday and after 9 am on Friday.
