Joyce Eleanor Cherry

Joyce Eleanor Cherry, 77 of Otisco, IN passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

Joyce was born on December 6, 1941 in Scottsburg, Indiana the daughter of Cornelius Fields and Genevieve Henderson Fields.  She was a retired Federal Police Officer.  Joyce attended the Otisco United Methodist Church, was a member of the F.O.P and a Kentucky Colonel.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George R. Cherry; brother, Paul Fields and sister, Peggy Schafer.

Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Harris (Jerry) of Weatherford, TX; sons, Barry Cherry (Charles) of Otisco and Jerry Cochran (Michelle) of New Washington, IN; brothers, Robert Fields of Marysville, IN and William Fields of Otisco; grandchildren, James Harris, Brandie Harris; great grandchildren, Matthew Harris and Maleah Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday December 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with the burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday after 10:00 am.
