Jessie Louise (Crum) Sapp

Jessie Louise Sapp 82, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday September 7, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born on January 25, 1937 in Clark County, IN to Frank and Louise Zollman Crum, Sr. She was a housewife and former employee of Olin Mathison and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Sapp, siblings, Mary Brady, Josephine Paulini, Judy Cardwell, Frank Crum, Jr. and Charlie Crum; grandchildren, Billie Durham and Devon Durham.

Survivors include her daughters, Joy Hawks of Louisville, KY and Bessie Adams (Jerry) of Lexington, IN; brothers, Roger Earl Crum of Charlestown, Marvin Crum of Jeffersonville, Pete Crum of Akron, OH; sister, June Knowland of Clarksville, IN; grandchildren Ira Proctor (Adam)  and Cindy Durham; great grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan and Henry Proctor, Candace Lyons and Carina Ineza.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday September 12, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Old Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11 am on Thursday.
