Henrietta B. (Biggers) Thomas

Henrietta (Penny) Biggers Martin Thomas, 88, of Charlestown, IN, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Charlestown, member of the Southern Indiana Youth Boosters Bingo, VFW Post 1427 Ladies Auxiliary, and a retiree of the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant where she was the union trustee. Penny was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Martin, and Dave Thomas, Sr.; daughters, Brenda Barr and Joyce Martin; grandchildren, Corey Biggers and Michelle Barr.

Survivors include her children, Lonnie Biggers of Flint, MI, Mary Blevins of Jeffersonville, IN, Antoinette Ann Martin, Rochelle Martin and Kem Martin, Sr., (Angela) all of Charlestown, IN; Thomas Drew Martin (Gwendolyn) of Louisville, KY; step-children, Dave Thomas, Jr. (Bernetta) of New Albany, IN, Sharon Robertson of Jeffersonville, IN, Lynn McAfee (Frank) of Louisville, KY, and Allen Wayne Thomas (Linda) of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Nikki Biggers, Lori Blevins, Lisa Spillman, Donal Blevins, Jackie Martin, Phillip Martin, Micah Martin, Sean Martin, Kem Martin, Jr., Great Grandchildren, Maggie Martin, Calvin Martin, Codyie Dunn, Taylor Stuart, Peyton Martin, Cameron Robertson, Corey Embry, Casey Embry, Connor Embry, Evan Blevins, Jaulea  Martin, Bryce Martin, Tyrah Martin, Gage Martin, Drashawn Martin, Irie Biggers, great great grandchildren, Faith Ann Blevins, Karsen Stuart, Colten Stuart and Jaelynn Martin, Zhaydin Tahj Mason and Zharieya Jye Mason.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 2 pm Saturday
