Forrest Earl Barry

Forrest Earl Barry, 95 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday June 23, 2019 at River Crossing in Charlestown.

Mr. Barry was born on June 21, 1924 in Hardin County, KY to Emery and Willie Fox Barry.  He was a retired supervisor for the old Army Ammunition Plant and I.C.I. of Americas in Charlestown.  He was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church and loved talking and watching sports, gardening and his small orchard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Barry, daughter, Cathy Barry, brothers, Allen and Haynes.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth W. Barry (Glendene) of Charlestown; sister, Frances Thornberry of South Carolina; grandchildren, Josh Barry (Lindy), Nicole Brown (Andre), Pat Barry (Joz), Shawn Abma (Miechelle) and Shane Abma (Nick); great grandchildren, Kasen, Kinsley, A.J., Cade, Trevor, Spencer, Parker, and Dylan; great great grandchildren, Charley, Windi and Heidi.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday June 27, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday and after 9 am on Thursday.
