Delores Imogene (Griffin) Middleton

Delores Imogene Middleton, 83, of Charlestown, IN. passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on August 13, 1935 in Clark County IN, to James and Mildred (Hutchinson) Griffin.  Delores was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother.

Delores is survived by her sons, Alonzo “Lonnie” Middleton Jr. (Frances), and Roger Middleton both of Charlestown; daughters, Cindy Jordan (John) of Henryville, IN and Ann Carter (Dallas) of Otisco, IN; brothers Edward Griffin of Paoli, IN, Steve Griffin, Danny Griffin of Charlestown, Gary Griffin and Jackie Griffin both of Sellersburg, IN; sisters, Ruth Blevins of Jeffersonville, IN and Kathy Grimes of Henryville; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alonzo Middleton Sr.; brothers, James Griffin Jr. and Donnie Griffin; sister, Janice Totten.

Funeral services for Dolores Imogene Middleton will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN at 1:00pm.  Visitation will also be held on Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery.
