David Clapp Obituary

David Gibson Clapp, 94 of Marysville, IN passed away on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

David was born on November 8, 1923 in New Albany, IN to Perry and Eleanor Conner Clapp. He was a farmer and a retired salesman at Conner Manufacturing in Louisville, KY. He was also a member of the Marysville Christian Church and the New Washington Masonic Lodge #167.

Survivors include wife, Vayola Gilbert Clapp; daughter, Ellen Burgin (Doug) of Marysville, IN; son, Wade (Nancy Swigonski) of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Luke Clapp, Steve Clapp, Spencer Clapp, Callie Burgin and Blake Burgin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Thursday until time of service.
