Brenda Rose (Preston) Elliott

Brenda Rose Elliott, 72 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at River Crossing.

Brenda was born on October 13, 1947 in Danville, KY the daughter of Gilbert and Nettie Payton Preston. She spent most of her life caring for her home and raising her loving family. Brenda enjoyed many things in life including playing bingo, reading and was always ready to beat someone playing cards.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Mike Elliott and his wife Teresa of Lexington, IN, Marty Elliott of Bethlehem, IN and Mark Elliott and his wife Michelle of LaGrange, KY; daughter, Carla Elliott of Louisville, KY; sister, Nancy Gaddis of Junction City, KY; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Marvin Elliott on May 16, 2019 and brother, Larry Preston.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Thursday until the time of services.

Immediately following the funeral service, the family ask that everyone attend a reception at River Crossing in the Activities Room.  This will be time to share memories and stories.
