Anna Lee (Corbin) Jones

Anna Lee Jones, 81 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Jones was born on January 19, 1937 in Jefferson County, KY the daughter of Johnnie and Maudie King Corbin. She was co-founder and second retiree of Bethlehem Packaging and Die Cutting Inc. Anna enjoyed jig-saw puzzles, her soaps and watching the Ohio River go by. Her lifelong connection to the river was being born during the 1937 Flood and passed away as the 2018 Flood receded.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Denney and her husband John of Jeffersonville; granddaughter, Anna Alicia Haulk and her husband Brian of Georgetown, IN; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alexander Kane; several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Barney Allen Jones, Jr.; grandson, B. J. Denney; sisters, Edith Tucker, Juanita Allendar, Doris Cecil, Faye Judd, Marian Swiggum, Letitia McWilliams and Janice Gail Lewis; brothers, Douglas and Bennie Corbin.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Charlestown Independent Church with burial in Highlands Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at the church. Expressions of Sympathy in memory of Anna may take the form of donations to B. J’s Playground in care of Charlestown Independent Church.
