Albert Lee Sparrow

Albert Lee Sparrow, 70 of Corydon, IN and formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, IN.

Albert was born on May 25, 1949 in Louisville, KY the son of William and Mary West Sparrow. He started his career in 1970 with Indiana Homes that later became BFI. In 1998 Albert transferred to Austin, TX and retired in 2002. He drove a Roll Off Truck and was a winner of the Million Mile Award. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, playing softball, always drove a clean car and placed 1st in the Truck Rodeo three times.

Albert is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Teresa Snyder Sparrow; Son, A. J. Sparrow Jr. and daughter Kimberly Whobrey both of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Cody, Frankie and Savannah; sister, Mary Carlson of Tennessee; brothers, Carl Sparrow of Otisco, IN, Johnny Sparrow of Jeffersonville, IN and Doug Sparrow of New Albany, IN; Albert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katie Ann Ashcraft; brothers, William, Raymond, James and Bobby Sparrow.

Cremation was chosen and no services will be held at this time.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Albert may be given to the funeral home to help with expenses.
