Betty “Cathy” Bell, 76 of Charlestown died on Saturday Aug. 11, 2012 at the home of her daughter in Jeffersonville.

She was born on February 13, 1936 to Leonard and Sallie Andrews Fowler in West Chester, PA.  She was a loving mother and a retired CSR Tech for St. Catherine Regional Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her father Leonard Fowler, brothers; Sherman and Henry Dillard Fowler, granddaughter; Mary Jane Neely and grandson; Larry E. Gates.

Survivors include her daughters; Debby Bell (Greg) of Louisville, KY, Rosia Bell of Nashville, TN and Diana Hall (Claude) of Jeffersonville, IN, mother; Sally Marie Hutchins of Winston-Salem, NC., sister; Barbara Turner of Crumpler, NC, grandchildren; Joshua Neely (Jessica), Windy Gates, Navanna Sanchez (Ramon) and Megan Allen (Dustin) and 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday August 15, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
