Shannon Kay (French) Twigg

Shannon Kay Twigg, 55 of New Washington, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Marysville, IN.

Shannon was born on November 24, 1962 in Louisville, KY the daughter of John and Katherine Piercy French. She was a Social Worker working with Adults with social and mental difficulties. Shannon was fascinated by the American Bald Eagle and was a moderator for the Kentucky school system for the Eagles Nest Organization. She also was a Hamm Radio Operator and loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren.   

Survivors include her husband Ronald Twigg Sr.; sons, Jordan Twigg and his fiancé Christy,  and Ronald Twigg Jr. both of New Washington; daughters, Kristie Gagel Swoboda and her husband Scott of Marysville and Shelly Gagel Conrad and her husband Rick of Jeffersonville; brothers, David French of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Tony French of Louisville; sisters, Nancy Farris and Tina Jones both of Louisville; grandchildren, Cj Swoboda, Austin Swoboda, Ethan Conrad, Rowan Conrad and Renea Twigg. Shannon was preceded in death by her parents, son Christopher Twigg; brother, Donnie French and a granddaughter, Mackenzie Gagel-Craven.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of services.
