Mary Wilmeth (Gibbs) Disch

Mary Wilmeth Disch, 86 of Charlestown, IN and formerly of Madison, IN passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.

Mary was born on November 7, 1930 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Thomas Paul and Ophelia Elizabeth Smith Gibbs. She was Medical Secretary for over ten years and was a reading aide for the Greater Clark School System.

Survivors include her sons, Joe Paul Disch(Sherri) and Dana Matthew Disch both of Charlestown, Jeffrey Andrew Disch(Teresa) of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Stephen, Daniel, Joshua and Dani Jo; great-grandchildren, Jackson Cain, Bentley, Jason, Ryan Alan, Kristen Grace, Brayden, Wyatt and Barrett. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Joseph Disch on October 13, 2016; sister, Betty Jean Gibbs and Kathleen Hopper.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery’s Chapel in Madison, IN. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of arrangements.
