Geneva Marie (Brawner) Kaag

Geneva Marie Kaag, 92 of Madison passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital.

Mrs. Kaag was born on April 26, 1925 in Trimble County, Kentucky the daughter of Willie A. and Ora Chilton Brawner. She retired from Sunny Heights Elementary School in Indianapolis where she was a cook for over twenty years. Geneva was a member of Kent United Methodist Church and Hanover Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Robert Kaag of Madison; sister, Wanda Johnson of Sebring, FL; granddaughter, Debra M. Kaag of Phoenix, AR; great-grandchild, Bohman Conrad, Phoenix, AR. Mrs. Kaag was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Kaag in 1996 and sister Doris Peddie in 1982.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Kent United Methodist Church at 2:00 P.M. with burial in Kent Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover and on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. Hanover Order of the Eastern Star will hold a memorial service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
